Produces red new growth when other Nandinas are green in spring and autumn

Plant Description: This is the only medium dwarf Nandina that displays red new foliage for nine months of the year. It has red new growth in spring and autumn, and a full flush of red in winter. It is a safe choice around bushland, as it will not spread from seed
Uses: Low hedge (also as a shrub or feature plant)
Position & Tolerances: Full sun to moderate shade. Drought and cold tolerant. Humidity tolerant
Height & Width: 60-70cm high x 60-70cm wide
Flowers: White flowers from September to May
Foliage: Red new growth in spring and autumn, and turning red all over in winter
Soil Type: Free draining to heavy clay soil
Best Planting Time: March to November
Planting Density: 2-3 plants per linear metre (3-6 plants per m²
Where it thrives: QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS, NT, SA and WA
Pruning: Prune every few years for hedging, or can be left unpruned

Establishment & Extra Care:

Water as required for 8-13 weeks until established.
Plant in a well mulched garden, a chunky mulch is recommended.
Use slow release fertiliser in spring, if required.
