A new pink flowered form of Correa alba with a strong growth habit

Plant Description: This is a new pink flowered form of the popular Correa alba. It is has a strong growth habit and is well suited to coastal areas
Uses: Small to fence sized hedge (also as a coastal landscape filler, bird attracting plant, mass planted as a medium shrub)
Position & Tolerances: Full sun to light shade. Drought and frost tolerant. Copes well with coastal winds
Height & Width: 2m high x 2m wide (can be kept smaller with pruning)
Flowers: Light pink bell flowers in winter to early spring
Soil Type: Adaptable to most soil types but preferably reasonably drained soils
Best Planting Time: Autumn, winter or spring
Planting Density: 1-2 plants per linear metre (1-2 plants per m²)
Where it thrives: ACT, VIC, TAS, SA, WA, Southern NSW and Sydney (in good draining soils)
Pruning: Prune twice per year to desired shape for a very tidy appearance, or can be pruned once per year to maintain a semi-compact habit

Establishment & Extra Care:

Water as required for 8-13 weeks until established.
Low water requirements once established.
Plant in a well mulched garden, a chunky mulch is recommended.
Fertilise with slow release native fertiliser.
